DLA advises on AIC 40% sale to Mitsubishi

Duncan Lawyers advises carbon project developer, Australian Integrated Carbon, in its 40% share sale to Mitsubishi Corporation.

Australian firm Duncan Lawyers & Associates (DLA) advised Australian Integrated Carbon (AIC), a leading nature-based carbon developer, in the deal that closed 28 July 2021.

Director Duncan Dermot led the firm, having worked closely with AIC since 2016 and Adam Townley for over a decade.

"It was a privilege to advise AIC and its founder, Adam Townley, on this deal," said Dermot.

"I have a deep interest in carbon and renewable projects, so it is always exciting to work with AIC and its team."

AIC works with farmers in regional Australia to create Australian Carbon Credit Units (ACCUs) through the Australian Government's Carbon Farming Initiative (CFI).
